If we can pray for you, please submit your request on the Prayer Wall.

So, how do we pray? Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. Jesus said, “This, then, is how you should pray.” He did not say this is what you should say, but rather this is how you should pray. The Lord’s prayer gives four specific things to pray about. One of the best ways to remember these four things is through the acronym P.R.A.Y.

PRAISE

Tell God thanks for who He is and what He has done. Our Father in heaven, hollowed be your name.” (Matthew 6:9a) See also: 1 Chronicles 29:10-13

REPENT

Confess your sins to God. Tell him how sorry you are for them and that you need His forgiveness. Ask God for strength not to do the sin again. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12) See also: Psalm 51:1-12

ASK

Give your requests to God. Give us today our daily bread.” And “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:11 & 6:13) See also: Ephesians 6:19-20

YIELD

Spend time submitting to God that His will be done in your life. Spend time quietly listening to God. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) See also: Matthew 26:39 & Psalm 46:10a

Prayer Wall

Marilyn Hergert

It is with a heavy heart concerning the crisis children are facing in our nation and our world that I am asking you to pray daily concerning these critical issues. I remember Jesus words: Let the little children come unto me. ( Mark 10: 14)

1. Pray for the unborn that their mothers will choose life for them rather than abortion.

2. Pray for the end of sex trafficking. Omaha is a major hub for this activity.

3. Pray for the victims of pedophiles, and prayers for the offenders that they will see their wicked ways, and repent and sin no more.

4. Pray for the innocence of children that all people to be mindful of protecting them.

May people in our nation wake up and return back to God. If all of us pray daily for God to intervene and return our nation to be a Godly nation, may God rescue us from the slippery slope we are on as a nation.

Thank you fellow Christ followers, parents, grandparents, coworkers, sons and daughters and brothers and sisters. We must know what God’s truths are and STAND for THEM.

This I all pray in Jesus name. Amen
