Three days of Prayer videos are based off of LCMC Service Coordinator Mike Bradley’s prayer petitions and themes, learn more at lcmc.net .

If we can pray for you, please submit your request on the Prayer Wall.

So, how do we pray? Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. Jesus said, “This, then, is how you should pray.” He did not say this is what you should say, but rather this is how you should pray. The Lord’s prayer gives four specific things to pray about. One of the best ways to remember these four things is through the acronym P.R.A.Y.

PRAISE

Tell God thanks for who He is and what He has done. Our Father in heaven, hollowed be your name.” (Matthew 6:9a) See also: 1 Chronicles 29:10-13

REPENT

Confess your sins to God. Tell him how sorry you are for them and that you need His forgiveness. Ask God for strength not to do the sin again. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12) See also: Psalm 51:1-12

ASK

Give your requests to God. Give us today our daily bread.” And “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:11 & 6:13) See also: Ephesians 6:19-20

YIELD

Spend time submitting to God that His will be done in your life. Spend time quietly listening to God. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) See also: Matthew 26:39 & Psalm 46:10a

Prayer Wall

Pam Burklund

My mom, Janet Beebe, went into Hospice on Dec.1st in Phoenix, AZ. She left us to be with Jesus on Sunday, Dec. 6th. She is now cradled in His loving arms. She has no pain, no suffering, no worries and no confusion any more. She fought the good fight and now her battle with Alzheimer's is over. Throughout this horrible disease she remained faithful to God, loved her family and loved her LCM church family. We were so blessed to have had her with us for 82 years. Due to Covid, services are pending--hopefully January. Please keep her husband, Kay Beebe, and the rest of the family in your prayers. Please pray for comfort and strength for the family.
