If we can pray for you, please submit your request on the Prayer Wall.

So, how do we pray? Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. Jesus said, “This, then, is how you should pray.” He did not say this is what you should say, but rather this is how you should pray. The Lord’s prayer gives four specific things to pray about. One of the best ways to remember these four things is through the acronym P.R.A.Y.

Tell God thanks for who He is and what He has done. Our Father in heaven, hollowed be your name.” (Matthew 6:9a) See also: 1 Chronicles 29:10-13

Confess your sins to God. Tell him how sorry you are for them and that you need His forgiveness. Ask God for strength not to do the sin again. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12) See also: Psalm 51:1-12

Give your requests to God. Give us today our daily bread.” And “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:11 & 6:13) See also: Ephesians 6:19-20

Spend time submitting to God that His will be done in your life. Spend time quietly listening to God. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) See also: Matthew 26:39 & Psalm 46:10a

Prayer Wall

Pam Elvig

Please pray that Eric and Clarity will feel Gods love around them and will accept Jesus into their lives. Their 11 month old baby, Eli Douglas, passed away Monday after struggling since birth with SMA type 0. They have been very angry with God since Eli's birth and especially now with his death. Eric used to attend youth group activities and had asked me about baptism for his 2 year old son Wyatt and Eli before he was born. He and his wife have now closed all doors leading to Jesus saying no God would allow a child to be born to suffer such pain. They really need to feel Gods love as they say goodbye to Eli tomorrow. Please also pray that their friends and family will feel God's love as well.
