Sunday Morning Youth Gatherings

Reminder: In case of inclement weather, please check the local news stations, Facebook and/or our website for the most recent cancellations. LCM will communicate if worship services are cancelled.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love in faith and in purity.” – 1 Timothy 4:12
Our Sunday Youth Gatherings are for all young people in Middle School and High School. We have donuts and orange juice every Sunday morning after the 8:30 service concludes in the youth room. We typically start at 9:30.
At this time, we ask that every young person that meets in-person wears a mask while inside and in our Small Group. Shelly is our SYG Small Group Leader.
This year, we are starting off by walking through SALT, which hopes to create a “Thirst for Jesus”.
We offer our Sunday Youth Gathering both in-person and online.
Please let Pastor Chris Andersen know if you are planning on joining online because we do drop materials off on Fridays, so that our young people can participate almost as if they are in-person!

Welcome to LCM Youth Ministry, a place for youth in grades 6th – 12th to come grow in and serve others in the Christian Faith. There are many different places to join in from bible studies to just fun events. Come and see what is going on and where you can join in! We can’t wait to see you!

**We are consistently being made aware of new resources that will help guide you as you parent your young people.  Here are some of our favorites, however; feel free to contact us if you are looking for help with a particular issue.**
AfterShocks are on the 2nd Sunday of the Month. They are typically fun, welcoming, and/or service projects.
In September, we went Frisbee Golfing at Seymour Smith Park on 70th and Harrison.
2020 has thrown a lot of curveballs, but we are still trying to find ways that we can be both socially distant, but yet socially present with our young people and Small Group Leaders.
Look for upcoming AfterShock announcements here, or contact Pastor Chris Andersen for more information.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere; in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8
Middle & High School Student Ministry gatherings are a fun supportive community of young people that get together once a week to work
together to understand God and His work in the world around us.
Come join our community!

Every week we serve some sort of food. It may be something like pizza or wings, or may just be snacks and finger foods.

Each week we’ll split up into small groups to study God’s Word and learn about how to be a witness to those around you! This year we start a 3-year chronological overview of the Bible using LifeWay’s “Gospel Project” curriculum.
