Day Twenty Two

No Hosea 3:16
Joel 3:16 (ESV)
The Lord roars from Zion, and utters his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth quake. But the Lord is a refuge to his people, a stronghold to the people of Israel.

The Lord roars like thunder and the heavens and earth quake. This is Pastor Tyler writing. The first time I ever sang the Lord’s Prayer in church was for a friend’s wedding in my hometown when I was in college.

As I sang the first line, “Our Father, which art in heaven…” there was a flash of lightning and the thunder boomed so loud the stain glass windows in the church rattled. I remember thinking, “God is really listening to me!” The thunder continued to roar after each line. I was a puddle of shaking sweat when I finished.

I find great comfort in John 3:16 which tells us this great and powerful God loves us enough to save us from our sin!
