What is Worship Like at LCM?

Traditional Worship

Worship Vision

To bring people into a closer relationship with God because of His command and our love of God reflecting a “heart language” that captures a meditative and reverent Spirit (Hebrews 12:28) through hearing the Word of God, singing hymns with traditional church instruments, using a traditional liturgy with certain orderly elements, being relevant and inspiring for worshippers.

At East Campus we use the Green Hymnal and have a full choir that sings during worship during the school year, with volunteers providing special music during the summer. The Master Ringers Bell Choir performs during morning services at least once a month during the school year and during holiday services.

At West Campus we use a blend of hymns from various eras. A special choir sings for Easter and Christmas.

Contemporary Worship

Worship Vision

To bring people into a closer relationship with God because of His command and our love of God reflecting a “heart language” that worships in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23) through hearing the Word of God, singing spiritual songs with contemporary instruments, using a free and expressive form, and being relevant and inspiring for worshippers.

At East Campus we’ve made Contemporary worship personal and intimate again with our Huddle Worship Service. Join us in the Fellowship Hall for breakfast fellowship and contemporary songs and the message.

At West Campus we meet in the Christian Life Center for contemporary choruses and the message.
