2019 VBS

Athens: Paul’s Dangerous Journey

East Campus | 2617 S 114th Street, Omaha

July 14-19 | 5:30 – 8pm

Imagine leaving a life of privilege and power to face angry mobs, painful imprisonment, and chain-breaking earthquakes—all to spread the life-changing truth of God’s love. Learn the jaw-dropping story of the Apostle Paul…straight from Paul himself! In an ancient “anything goes” culture, Paul will inspire kids to share the truth of God’s immeasurable love today!

VBS is not just for kids anymore, join us at East campus this July as we explore an exciting new way to fellowship with a VBS experience for all ages. Children have their VBS time while the adults have a session led by Pastor Tyler. We kick off each evening, after dinner, as one big group.

Transportation is available for those who qualify! Questions? Contact Tracy Schmidt.

On Friday, July 19 we will all get back together, same time, same place for an old fashioned potluck meal, the church will provide the meat, please bring a side or dessert. After our meal we will be packing boxes for the Global Hunger Network again!

What does VBS for all ages

look like?

Please join us for our Oikos (household) style VBS.  Travel with a mixed age group of children to see the Bible come to life. Or pair up with a child “buddy” for dinner and the opening ceremony and then meet up with Pastor Tyler in the library for an adult study!

Family Dinner: 5:30-6:15pm

Group Session: 6:15pm
Everyone will meet in the Sanctuary for the Opening program after dinner each night.

Adults attending Pastor Tyler’s Bible Study will meet in the library.
