Join others for a time of prayer:

Wednesday: A group meets at the West Campus on 180th 2 blocks North of Dodge at 4:00 pm in room W 10/11.

If we can pray for you, please submit your request on the Prayer Wall.

So, how do we pray? Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. Jesus said, “This, then, is how you should pray.” He did not say this is what you should say, but rather this is how you should pray. The Lord’s prayer gives four specific things to pray about. One of the best ways to remember these four things is through the acronym P.R.A.Y.

PRAISE

Tell God thanks for who He is and what He has done. Our Father in heaven, hollowed be your name.” (Matthew 6:9a) See also: 1 Chronicles 29:10-13

REPENT

Confess your sins to God. Tell him how sorry you are for them and that you need His forgiveness. Ask God for strength not to do the sin again. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12) See also: Psalm 51:1-12

ASK

Give your requests to God. Give us today our daily bread.” And “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:11 & 6:13) See also: Ephesians 6:19-20

YIELD

Spend time submitting to God that His will be done in your life. Spend time quietly listening to God. Your kingdom done, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) See also: Matthew 26:39 & Psalm 46:10a

"Please pray for my husband James that he would be the spiritual leader, provider and protector of our family. Pray that he puts the Lord first and listen to Jesus. That he would put the Lord first in our finances and honor our marriage. Pray that the Lord, would bless my husband’s work. that he would be diligent and prosperous and given favor both with the Lord and man. Pray everything that has been stolen from him and his wife would be returned 10 fold. That he would be the head and not the tail. That everything he does prospers.

Pray that no weapon formed against us would prosper. That the Lord would give him good health, wisdom and discernment. Pray that the Lord would give him strength to walk into opportunities he provides. That the Lord, would infuse his character with courage for daily decisions and heal the past wounds of my husband’s heart. Pray the Lord would guide my husband a s the leader of our home. Help my husband’s parenting to reflect Jesus Christ to our children. May his leadership skills be empowered by the mind of Jesus Christ.

Pray the Lord would lead my husband’s hand and heart in our relationship, his work, our home, community and church. Also please pray for him to be protected and for the lord to place a guard over his heart, mouth and mind, Jesus. Also to protect him from temptation and to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Lastly pray for him to have encouraging and godly friendships. Break any soul ties or relationships that are not from the Lord. In Jesus Name Amen."

“O God, we want this work kept on a miracle basis. We want everyone to know that God's hand is on this movement. We want folks to see that this is too big and too great for any person or group of people to accomplish by themselves. We want folks to say God did it."

1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

I’m so thankful that God knows what’s going on in the hearts and lives of EVERY person, including every student we get to interact with. There have been many moments of praise this month and further prayer in the lives of students, as well as our parents. I praise God for the 130 of you that pray for us. I’m convinced that it changes the world, even if we don’t always see it, because God sees it all.

So, let me list many and you pick a few!

Praise/Further Prayer:

• “Kurin”, the young woman who’s mother passed away in Oct. has been opening up weekly to our leaders. She has been giving out hugs, engaging here and there, and wants further depth. Pray for our leaders to have solid boundaries with her (she’s an attention seeker) and for our wisdom as we interact with her, not being professional counselors.

• “Amy” has been a Campus Life kid for years, and she told us this week that the Lord has been working on her heart in the area of her sexuality. She’s identified as bi-sexual or pansexual for years and now the Lord is working on this part of her heart too! He’s also delivering her from cutting and depression, though it still happens, but so much less frequently. Praise God and pray for her further growth in these!

• I’m praising God for “Jake.” God brought him to us this year for the first time and we’ve been able to walk through many issues with him. He said last week “I no longer hate people, but I don’t want to be around them that much,” sounds like the Grinch to me! Pray for him as he continues to battle depression and walks toward the light.

• Pray that “Gerald” and “Chad” come back to the light. They continue to make poor life choices with their finances, drugs, and women. I’m praying they radically meet the Lord and are transformed by the renewing of their mind!

• See the Story 2019 saw over 1600 people join us for what God’s been doing this year. I’m praising him for the 70 people that joined us from the Millard North area and asking the Lord “now what?” His plans are far better than mine and I want to be apart of them! We will see how he moves us all more toward his plans in this!

God Bless

Please pray for the family of Bonnie Havekost who passed away Thursday night after a long battle with heart problems and dementia. She was my kindergarten teacher, my confirmation sponsor, and an otherwise significant person in my life for the last 36 years. She leaves behind her husband, Milt, along with three grown sons and their families.

Please pray for my Aunt Kay who lives on the Oregon coast. She had heart valve replacement surgery around nine years ago, and that valve is now failing. In order for her to survive, she will need another similar surgery which comes with major risks to the point where only Stanford University or the Mayo Clinic doctors can perform her surgery. Even though she feels fine currently, her condition is very serious. My dad was her only sibling, so my mom, my brothers, their families, and I are all the family she has. Thankfully she has a good network of friends where she is. The thing that concerns me more than her physical condition is I don't know where she is in terms of faith. She does not attend church regularly, but she was baptized and confirmed. When she visits here, she attends church with us and participates in worship. Please pray both about her physical and spiritual situation, and please pray that if there is something my family is supposed to do or say that God give us the words and opportunity to do so knowing the limitations of the great geographical distance between us.

I know a few of you are concerned about my health. I wanted to pass it on to you and wanted prayers as there are so many unanswered questions right now. I am in complete shock and know the power of prayer.

Here is some updated information about me. I met with a surgeon on Tuesday. My lump is a medium to large lump that has been inside me about 5 years. Birth control and other hormonal stuff can have an effect on it they believe. Next step is to have a liver biopsy done to see what the lump is. They will give me local anthectic and I will feel pressure when they take a sample of it and still be awake. They said only one to two days to recover. Then they will see what the lump is before they would do a full liver resection. They can not do anything for my pain yet until they know the results of the biopsy. That’s all I know for now and still waiting on when the biopsy will be scheduled. I am anxious and want to get it done as soon as possible. Thank you all for being here for me.

Praising God for answers to prayer. Our 58-year-old nephew Hugh, who is Burwell’s doctor, suffered a heart attack on Friday evening while visiting his father who is very ill from chemo treatments. Hugh’s son was there at the time and performed CPR on his dad. He was rushed to the hospital where tests indicated Hugh had suffered from Broken Heart Syndrome (which is a real medical diagnosis). Further tests later showed that he did not suffer any damage to the heart and will be released from the hospital in a few days. God was there all the time performing one miracle after another! God is good!

“O God, we want this work kept on a miracle basis. We want everyone to know that God's hand is on this movement. We want folks to see that this is too big and too great for any person or group of people to accomplish by themselves. We want folks to say God did it."

Isaiah 8:11-13 For the Lord spoke thus to me with his strong hand upon me, and warned me not to walk in the way of this people, saying: 12 “Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. 13 But the Lord of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

This verse has grown to carry a lot of weight in how I interact with this world. We live in a place that is full of reactionary “takes” about life and I find those takes quite bland. It’s emoting without knowing if you’re emoting about things worth caring about. I need to care about the things of God, but so often I am distracted by what is temporary. I’m not always thinking of the things of Christ (Colossians 3), in fact, I’m probably more thinking of the world. But each day, I hope that I grow just a little better at thinking of things above so that 10 years from now, half of what I think about is holy. I’m not there yet, but I’m on the move!

Prayer:

• A young woman named “Kurin” finally opened up to our leader. He struggles with school, her sexuality, family issues, and friend issues. Pray for our leader Haley that she can partner with the Spirit well and give grace and truth well.

• We have a high school overnight in two weeks. Pray for “God moments” where we can take Jesus as we go do fun things in Omaha.

• Continue to pray for the salvation of our students. We have a great group that God keeps working in!

• Continue to pray that Allison has a healthy pregnancy!

Praises:

• Both conversations with “Jeff” and “Jake” went well. Their parents said it was so healthy for them and good for their growth

• Our volunteer party was a great time of joy, celebration, and honestly, our students serving the adults. Couldn’t ask for anything better…except maybe a few less dishes to wash

• Speaking at Lifegate on Romans 12:1-2 was wonderful. I’ve started to measure success by “did I say what I think God wanted me to say?” and less about audience feedback. I loved it!

“O God, we want this work kept on a miracle basis. We want everyone to know that God's hand is on this movement. We want folks to see that this is too big and too great for any person or group of people to accomplish by themselves. We want folks to say God did it."

The more that I make it a habit to ask the Spirit to show up, the more that he does that; in my marriage, friendships, parenting, and YFC. This week it was a joy to do a “question box,” where students get to ask any question they want, and leaders give the best answer they have in that moment. “What does it mean to be a man” “Will God really send me to hell because I like/love people of the same sex” and “how can I find happiness” were some of the questions. As well as a handful of kids requesting private conversations with a leader. Kids are walking toward the light, without knowing it and I love watching Jesus do that!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1. Pray that the Spirit of God would show up in these one on one conversations with leaders. They covered addiction, sexuality, and poor home life. Pray we could love like Jesus as we point to him.

2. A close friend and his wife are moving to Indonesia this month as missionaries. Lift them up as they move!

PRAISE REPORT:

1. Appreciation of volunteers: We’re having a party this Friday night for our entire volunteer team. Praying they feel the love that we have for them and enjoy time together.

It was a great time. We cooked for 16 leaders, turned out great, and it was a wonderful night of celebration!

2. I get the chance to meet one on one with a few students this week. I’m praying I can speak about life in Christ to them and they see a God who’s bigger than they are. Their names are “Jake” and “Jeff.”

I got messages from both parents that it was GREAT for them individually. I’m glad that the spirit was present for these good conversations.

3. I get to speak this week to 6-8th grade students at LifeGate school over Romans 12:1-2. I’m praying that I can speak clearly, with helpful analogies, and be in love with my Savior as I talk about his transformative work.

I had a great time speaking. I walked away content that I said what I needed to say. Thank for the prayers!

Happy New Year everyone!

The light is on the move!

Over break we had a student meet with their small group leader to talk about their struggle with lust. Another two girls went to church with their small group leader for Christmas and lunch. And God keeps giving us opportunities to be apart of pushing back the darkness. For that I’m thankful and eager to see what God is going to do in 2019.

I wanted to share that the last two calendar years, I’ve given myself annually 6 hours over 2 days to reflect. As a part of that I pray and ask Jesus, “what do you want this year to be about?” that he might give me a word and scripture for direction. It took about 10 days of prayer and waiting, but the I confidently settled on “emote and Psalm 34” this year. I’m curious what he has for me this year! I wonder what he has for YOU this year because he loves you greatly!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1. Appreciation of volunteers: We’re having a party this Friday night for our entire volunteer team. Praying they feel the love that we have for them and enjoy time together.

“O God, we want this work kept on a miracle basis. We want everyone to know that God's hand is on this movement. We want folks to see that this is too big and too great for any person or group of people to accomplish by themselves. We want folks to say God did it."

Last time I wrote I talked about light and darkness. Light defeats darkness, and Jesus keeps reminding me of that. At one point during RED Weekend I was incredibly discouraged, one of our kids chose to go home half-way through and I was again praying and asking “why does it seem like darkness hits him so hard during these trips? Why aren’t you fighting back? Where’s the Gospel ‘haymaker’ that smashes darkness?” Again, the Lord whispered to my soul, “what if I’ve already landed the killing blow and you haven’t seen it yet? I’m always at work, beneath the surface.” So I keep giving my discouragement and lack of faith to God, knowing that he sees all of these kids and their hearts 24/7. The light is on the move!

Below you’ll find what the requests was and an update of what happened that is underlined. THANKS for the prayers!

“Jeff” He got caught up in some poor choices his semester and was suspended for a few weeks. Praying he meets Jesus this weekend

The weekend was…meh for him, but he had a decent time. The win was his parents caught him smoking pot after the weekend and he asked to talk with us about it all. For 90 minutes he spilled his heart out and that was a HUGE win: his own drug issues, divorce struggles, friend pain, and his depression. He wants to walk out of his darkness of depression and toward the light. Praise God.

“Steve” He’s knows Jesus and said last week “I finally realized how much I’ve put my identity in what other people think of me. I want what Jesus thinks of me.” He’s so close to jumping in deeply

With Jesus. I’m praying this weekend is a line in the sand moment for him.

It was good relational time for Steve and our leader. He thinks he’s farther through healing than he actually is, but I believe he’s dealing with what he knows well. Looking forward to having some more future conversations with him!

“Wyatt” He knows Jesus and I’m praying he grows in Jesus as he helps steer conversations toward Jesus

This dude was great to have around. He opened up about some questions about Jesus, revealed pain he had relating to his father, and had a great time. I’m looking forward to how God uses him this year! Plus he helped keep conversations going well!

“Amy” She knows Jesus and is at a turning point. Praying this helps dive her deeper into her wounds and deeper into his healing

Amy was great. She has known the Lord for two years and was helping to answer the question “how do you know you’re saved” with GREAT theology. She got deeper with Jesus and showed her own leadership abilities. I’m excited to have her help volunteer with some students this next semester.

“Christy” Again, knows Jesus and I LOVE her heart for her peers. Even as she heals herself, she wants others to hear about her Savior. Pray she has a great weekend as she herself hears truth and grows in Jesus!

Yup, she did a great job loving her peers and leading them. I thought it was a great weekend for her and with her!

“Kari” It’s been a long year for her between moves, changes, life, and growing. I’m praying this weekend she realizes Jesus is worth it, he’s good ALWAYS, and she heals of some of the past hurts in her life.

A little distracted, but good to have her with us. She continues to grow slowly, like we all do, and I know she had a fun, memorable weekend. Glad she came and brought a friend with too!

“Mary” We don’t know her story yet, but I know she’s been grounded extensively for choices she made this summer. Praying she shares her story and encounters Jesus.

Great weekend with her and was a ton of fun. The only downside is she hasn’t been able to come to Campus Life since then and we miss her!

“Teri” New to Campus Life and doesn’t know Jesus. She’s in the dark, but last week said “I don’t know why I keep coming here but it’s the only place I feel like I can be myself.” That my friends, is Jesus.

Overall, an emotional weekend for her. She broke up with her boyfriend so that was major drama and ugly…and she’s back together with him now. I’m not sure what she learned yet, she was quiet, but she received great love from her leader and is continuing to come to Campus Life no matter what. Again, the light is on the move.

“Grace” Has made recent poor choices with her boyfriend. It’s really fresh emotionally for everyone, so there’s a lot of wounds that are still bleeding. I’m praying she can open up and find the freedom that Jesus offers, forgiveness that’s real, and satisfaction that is deeper than sin.

She asked a question at 2 in the morning to her leader, “I kind of want to be saved but I don’t know how and I’m not ready yet. How can I be saved and know that I’m saved?” She did not bow her knee to Jesus in that moment, but did share about her physical relationship with her boyfriend. That is walking toward the light and out of darkness!

“Chad” Again, praying for 3 years. Drugs and sex, and he also loves the darkness. In fact, he’s quite against the light and has revealed zero to nothing about himself for 3 years. I’m praying he opens up this weekend. I’m praying he reveals his real hurts. I’m praying he listens to Jesus and meets the real love, grace, healing, and forgiveness that he offers.

The darkness roughs this young man up in severe ways. He had a hard time between nicotine withdrawals (he’s addicted to cigarette’s), breaking up with his girlfriend “Teri” (above), and he was the young man who left early. BUT, for 20 minutes, in the hotel lobby waiting for his ride, I got to share truth with him. I talked about Jesus, my own life, what I saw in him, and pointed out some of his pains. For 20 minutes he listened and we set up another time to connect and meet. At the end, he shot me a text, “love you too,” the first time he’s ever expressed that. Our conversation after RED Weekend was stellar. I learned a lot more about him and I think he’s oblivious to his own problems from living in survival mode so long. Again, I shared the gospel and offered him similar to what Jesus offered the rich young ruler “do you want time with me where I invest in you?” He has yet to respond. The light is on the move.

2. Keep praying for Jason and Christie Currie. The most recent tests showed that the cancer remains present and a threat. Outside of a miracle from the Lord, the diagnosis is not good. But I know the God we serve is a God of miracles and a God of the 11th hour. He always shows up at exactly the right time. So, we continue to pray and wait expectantly.

Continued Prayers:

1. In Nov. and Dec. I’m working to ask 10 more people if they’d join our financial support team. So far, we’ve had one join our team (PRAISE GOD!), one say, “not now” and four conversations are set up for January. It’s an honor and privilege to invite people into our current work!

2. I’m praying for 3 more female volunteers for our Millard North middle school club.

“O God, we want this work kept on a miracle basis. We want everyone to know that God's hand is on this movement. We want folks to see that this is too big and too great for any person or group of people to accomplish by themselves. We want folks to say God did it."

Some weeks are like last week, where I get discouraged, I think that the darkness is winning. When sin is revealed in the lives of multiple people and there’s pain in the pain. But Jesus reminds me, “I’m the healed, I’ve been drawing the whole time. They’re with you, doesn’t that mean that I’m present?” So I thought, of the 12 kids going to RED Weekend, I started relationships with exactly one of them, Jesus drew ALL of them by HIMSELF. But the fact that they’re there, weekly, listening to the truth, receiving love, and seeing a glimpse of Jesus, means the light, our savior, is actually on the offensive, not the defensive. So darkness, be put on notice, because Jesus wins and I believe they wouldn’t be there if Jesus wasn’t working behind the scenes on a dozen different hearts, softening them for the truth of Jesus, even as darkness claws and scrapes for handholds at a soul that is slipping away from them into the safe hands of Jesus. Hope is rising…and found in Jesus.

Every so often we have huge events where we get loving adults with extended time with teenagers. This weekend is RED Weekend, where we get a whole weekend to do just that. There are 207 students going, 12 of whom are from Millard North. Let me ask that you pray for 2 or 3 of these students as they go through this weekend. In all of it would you pray against the darkness with me, that evil would be bound? Pray for wisdom for our leaders in conversation and clarity for our speaker in delivery. Thank you in advance!

“Jeff” He got caught up in some poor choices his semester and was suspended for a few weeks. Praying he meets Jesus this weekend

2. Keep praying for Jason and Christie Currie. The most recent tests showed that the cancer remains present and a threat. Outside of a miracle from the Lord, the diagnosis is not good. PRAISES:

The Brookside Retreat was incredible. I enjoyed every minute of it. I got so many encouraging texts and emails from you all as I got to speak the truth of the word of God. Lives were transformed, kids shared about the deep parts of their hearts; suicide, cutting, tobacco, relationships, it all came out with loving adults who are still in relationship with him. Praying for their souls as they come off the “camp high” and are back in the situations they left. You did the work of prayer and for that I’m so thankful. Beyond grateful. THANKS!

Prayer Warriors,

Let me briefly challenge us with something I learned from the Lord. The lottery was recently an astronomical number somewhere around $1.5 billion dollars. I chose NOT to buy a ticket for a number of reasons, but the biggest being what the Lord showed me. Even with $1.5 billion, we could live off it and give it away continually. It would take a while, but eventually, it would all be gone. My God owns the “cattle on a thousand hills” (Ps. 50:10) and he “gives from the spring of the water of life without payment” (Rev. 21:6). He doesn’t run out of resources and always provides for us (Matt. 6:25-34). For Allison and I, he’s always provided in the past, even last month as he squashed our final grants. So I know that as we transition to a smaller income, it will continue to be enough because he always provides and I can rest in faith, and work as he directs, that ultimately he’ll take care of it!

I apologize for the length as there are many students and events in need of prayer. As we often do, pick one or two to pray for as you have time!

Prayer requests:

1. Pray for our high school group. We have 6-8 kids in a self-titled “bad kids group.” We got to have a gut level conversation a few weeks ago where all of them admitted to smoking, drinking, and a few to sex. Some started these deviant behaviors as easy as 11 and 12. They do not yet see the destructive nature of their choices, nor have a desire to change. But we I did get to say this clearly last week: “I love you and want you to know, one person believes in you. But don’t for one second think that I am an idiot or that I think the choices you’re making a wise or good. I’m here because I’m waiting for the moment, in the near future or far future, where you want to change, and I’ll be that first phone call.” It wasn’t an earth shattering moment for any of them at the time, but I think our love for them will continue to pay dividends in the future!

So we continue to pray and wait expectantly.

3. I speak at Brookside church’s fall retreat Nov. 9-11. Pray for me as I listen to Jesus, to speak in truth and grace (John 1:14, 18), but also for the hearts of the teens and adults listening.

4. Pray for RED Weekend Nov. 16-18. Specifically, that we get 7 guys and 7 girls to attend and that money isn’t an object to keep them from coming. So far, we have 2 girls signed up (with 3 more working on it) and zero boys (with 1 confirmed working on it.)

Continued Prayers:

1. Continuing to pray that the least, lonely, and lost join Campus Life. We have some incredible leaders ready to love them well!

2. In Nov. and Dec. I’m working to ask 10 more people if they’d join our financial support team. With Jason (our executive director) helping his wife go through cancer treatment, we’re stepping up our staffs fundraising efforts to fill some of the gap he normally would. That the Lord would remove wild beasts from the land, and that the sword will not pass through our country and that President Trump along with our leaders be filled with power, with the Spirit of the Lord, and with justice and might to declare the sins of Gods people. Please pray for revival and that the Lord would pour out his spirit on his servants, throughout the world both men and women. Pray for the peace of Israel. Gods will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Prayers please for my new great nephew Zeke McQuillen. He was born Monday morning, all was ok, but has now started running a fever and was put in the NICU early this morning. His older brother Max (age 2 1/2) started running a fever also yesterday. So any and all prayers will be very appreciated. “O God, we want this work kept on a miracle basis. We want everyone to know that God's hand is on this movement. We want folks to see that this is too big and too great for any person or group of people to accomplish by themselves. We want folks to say God did it."

Prayer Warriors,

I apologize for the length as there are many students in need of prayer. As we often do, pick one or two to pray for as you have time!

Prayer requests:

1. Pray for “Kari”, one of our students. Her mother died a few weeks ago and it has led to loss and some deep depression. She does not know the Lord yet.

Update: her depression has continued but she’s been opening up to a leader and friends about this new normal. She is also seeing a professional counselor. Some of the music she’s listening to is quite depressing /negative so keep praying!

2. Pray for “Jackson” as he has been making some poor choices with drugs, destructive behaviors, and suicidal tendencies. He does not know Jesus, but we’re praying he is transformed by God

Update: As a result of your prayers we’ve actually have 4 great conversations thus far. Still a lot of things to work through, but I believe your prayers have allowed BOTH of his parents (divorced) to reach out to me and they are both excited he’s connected. Keep praying.

3. I speak at Brookside church’s fall retreat Nov. 9-11. Pray for me as I listen to Jesus, to speak in truth and grace, but also for my family as it will be a full month of being gone on the weekends.

4. Pray for RED Weekend Nov. 16-18. Specifically, that we get 7 guys and 7 girls to attend and that money isn’t an object to keep them from coming.

Continued Prayers:

1. Continuing to pray that the least, lonely, and lost join Campus Life. We have some incredible leaders ready to love them well!

Update: We’ve seen almost 20 new students this year. Many of whom are in these circles. Praise God!

2. Pray for the salvation of “Gage, Chase, and Jackson.” I’m praying that the Lord radically changes their lives!

I took the three of them camping over fall break last week. I learned a lot about them all and they heard the Gospel a ton of different ways. Two of them would relate to the prodigal son and I’m praying they “come back home.”

PRAISE!!! Allison’s teach grant was listed as “accepted” and she can be a stay at home mother forever!!! We got the news about 14 days ago and haven’t stopped celebrating the Lord’s provision. Debt free and able to live on what the Lord has provided for us through YFC. Praise the Lord, praise his name! For he is good, and his steadfast love endures forever!

Hello! My father's dearest friend, Joseph Mellen has been living in Thailand. Earlier this week he was riding a motorcycle and was hit by a car. He was found on the side of the road and taken to a hospital. He was in critical condition with several broken ribs, a head contusion, has a neck brace, and is in a coma. He is responding to light and is able to squeeze hands. I believe his condition has been stabilized but he hasn't woken up yet. His family flew over a few days ago to be with him. Please pray for his recovery and that maybe he can get flown out of there to the states for better medical care.

Thank you for your prayers! According to his doctors, baby boy James (our niece from Philadelphia’s baby that was born at 25 weeks) is doing “great”. Please pray for continued growth and maturity for this wee one .. and for his parents, Susan and Ben. They are so grateful for your prayers!

Our current house guest, Kassy (and her husband Ben) also would appreciate your prayers for continued wonderful progress for their baby girl, Saoirse Grace, who is still at the Hospital. She was born at 29 weeks gestation on August 27 and currently weighs almost 4 pounds. They are from the Broken Bow area and have been staying overnights (daddy arrives on weekends) at our place (fairly short distance from the hospital) and spending days with the baby. They are so grateful to God for her good progress and look forward to taking her home!
