Join others for a time of prayer:

Wednesday: A group meets at the West Campus on 180th 2 blocks North of Dodge at 4:00 pm in room W 10/11.

If we can pray for you, please submit your request on the Prayer Wall.

So, how do we pray? Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. Jesus said, “This, then, is how you should pray.” He did not say this is what you should say, but rather this is how you should pray. The Lord’s prayer gives four specific things to pray about. One of the best ways to remember these four things is through the acronym P.R.A.Y.

Tell God thanks for who He is and what He has done. Our Father in heaven, hollowed be your name.” (Matthew 6:9a) See also: 1 Chronicles 29:10-13

Confess your sins to God. Tell him how sorry you are for them and that you need His forgiveness. Ask God for strength not to do the sin again. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12) See also: Psalm 51:1-12

Give your requests to God. Give us today our daily bread.” And “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:11 & 6:13) See also: Ephesians 6:19-20

Spend time submitting to God that His will be done in your life. Spend time quietly listening to God. Your kingdom done, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) See also: Matthew 26:39 & Psalm 46:10a

Kathie Magnuson

Thank you for your prayers! According to his doctors, baby boy James (our niece from Philadelphia’s baby that was born at 25 weeks) is doing “great”. Please pray for continued growth and maturity for this wee one .. and for his parents, Susan and Ben. They are so grateful for your prayers!

Our current house guest, Kassy (and her husband Ben) also would appreciate your prayers for continued wonderful progress for their baby girl, Saoirse Grace, who is still at the Hospital. She was born at 29 weeks gestation on August 27 and currently weighs almost 4 pounds. They are from the Broken Bow area and have been staying overnights (daddy arrives on weekends) at our place (fairly short distance from the hospital) and spending days with the baby. They are so grateful to God for her good progress and look forward to taking her home!
