Join others for a time of prayer:

Wednesday: A group meets at the West Campus on 180th 2 blocks North of Dodge at 4:00 pm in room W 10/11.

If we can pray for you, please submit your request on the Prayer Wall.

So, how do we pray? Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. Jesus said, “This, then, is how you should pray.” He did not say this is what you should say, but rather this is how you should pray. The Lord’s prayer gives four specific things to pray about. One of the best ways to remember these four things is through the acronym P.R.A.Y.

PRAISE

Tell God thanks for who He is and what He has done. Our Father in heaven, hollowed be your name.” (Matthew 6:9a) See also: 1 Chronicles 29:10-13

REPENT

Confess your sins to God. Tell him how sorry you are for them and that you need His forgiveness. Ask God for strength not to do the sin again. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12) See also: Psalm 51:1-12

ASK

Give your requests to God. Give us today our daily bread.” And “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:11 & 6:13) See also: Ephesians 6:19-20

YIELD

Spend time submitting to God that His will be done in your life. Spend time quietly listening to God. Your kingdom done, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) See also: Matthew 26:39 & Psalm 46:10a

Prayer Wall

Ryan Pramberg - Youth for Christ

“O God, we want this work kept on a miracle basis. We want everyone to know that God's hand is on this movement. We want folks to see that this is too big and too great for any person or group of people to accomplish by themselves. We want folks to say God did it."

1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

I’m so thankful that God knows what’s going on in the hearts and lives of EVERY person, including every student we get to interact with. There have been many moments of praise this month and further prayer in the lives of students, as well as our parents. I praise God for the 130 of you that pray for us. I’m convinced that it changes the world, even if we don’t always see it, because God sees it all.

So, let me list many and you pick a few!

Praise/Further Prayer:

• “Kurin”, the young woman who’s mother passed away in Oct. has been opening up weekly to our leaders. She has been giving out hugs, engaging here and there, and wants further depth. Pray for our leaders to have solid boundaries with her (she’s an attention seeker) and for our wisdom as we interact with her, not being professional counselors.

• “Amy” has been a Campus Life kid for years, and she told us this week that the Lord has been working on her heart in the area of her sexuality. She’s identified as bi-sexual or pansexual for years and now the Lord is working on this part of her heart too! He’s also delivering her from cutting and depression, though it still happens, but so much less frequently. Praise God and pray for her further growth in these!

• I’m praising God for “Jake.” God brought him to us this year for the first time and we’ve been able to walk through many issues with him. He said last week “I no longer hate people, but I don’t want to be around them that much,” sounds like the Grinch to me! Pray for him as he continues to battle depression and walks toward the light.

• Pray that “Gerald” and “Chad” come back to the light. They continue to make poor life choices with their finances, drugs, and women. I’m praying they radically meet the Lord and are transformed by the renewing of their mind!

• See the Story 2019 saw over 1600 people join us for what God’s been doing this year. I’m praising him for the 70 people that joined us from the Millard North area and asking the Lord “now what?” His plans are far better than mine and I want to be apart of them! We will see how he moves us all more toward his plans in this!

God Bless
