Join others for a time of prayer:

Wednesday: A group meets at the West Campus on 180th 2 blocks North of Dodge at 4:00 pm in room W 10/11.

If we can pray for you, please submit your request on the Prayer Wall.

So, how do we pray? Jesus taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. Jesus said, “This, then, is how you should pray.” He did not say this is what you should say, but rather this is how you should pray. The Lord’s prayer gives four specific things to pray about. One of the best ways to remember these four things is through the acronym P.R.A.Y.

Tell God thanks for who He is and what He has done. Our Father in heaven, hollowed be your name.” (Matthew 6:9a) See also: 1 Chronicles 29:10-13

Confess your sins to God. Tell him how sorry you are for them and that you need His forgiveness. Ask God for strength not to do the sin again. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” (Matthew 6:12) See also: Psalm 51:1-12

Give your requests to God. Give us today our daily bread.” And “lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.” (Matthew 6:11 & 6:13) See also: Ephesians 6:19-20

Spend time submitting to God that His will be done in your life. Spend time quietly listening to God. Your kingdom done, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) See also: Matthew 26:39 & Psalm 46:10a

Ryan Pramberg - Youth for Christ

“O God, we want this work kept on a miracle basis. We want everyone to know that God's hand is on this movement. We want folks to see that this is too big and too great for any person or group of people to accomplish by themselves. We want folks to say God did it."

The more that I make it a habit to ask the Spirit to show up, the more that he does that; in my marriage, friendships, parenting, and YFC. This week it was a joy to do a “question box,” where students get to ask any question they want, and leaders give the best answer they have in that moment. “What does it mean to be a man” “Will God really send me to hell because I like/love people of the same sex” and “how can I find happiness” were some of the questions. As well as a handful of kids requesting private conversations with a leader. Kids are walking toward the light, without knowing it and I love watching Jesus do that!

1. Pray that the Spirit of God would show up in these one on one conversations with leaders. They covered addiction, sexuality, and poor home life. Pray we could love like Jesus as we point to him.

2. A close friend and his wife are moving to Indonesia this month as missionaries. Lift them up as they move!

1. Appreciation of volunteers: We’re having a party this Friday night for our entire volunteer team. Praying they feel the love that we have for them and enjoy time together.

It was a great time. We cooked for 16 leaders, turned out great, and it was a wonderful night of celebration!

2. I get the chance to meet one on one with a few students this week. I’m praying I can speak about life in Christ to them and they see a God who’s bigger than they are. Their names are “Jake” and “Jeff.”

I got messages from both parents that it was GREAT for them individually. I’m glad that the spirit was present for these good conversations.

3. I get to speak this week to 6-8th grade students at LifeGate school over Romans 12:1-2. I’m praying that I can speak clearly, with helpful analogies, and be in love with my Savior as I talk about his transformative work.

I had a great time speaking. I walked away content that I said what I needed to say. Thank for the prayers!
