December 2018

All the members of the board would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very blessed Christmas season. This is the time of the year we celebrate our Savior’s birth, as we focus on our church and family traditions. We will be enjoying all the special programs that our church offers especially the children’s programs that help us celebrate Christmas. Our family at LCM has a lot to be thankful for this year, as we have had two new pastors join our church family. We also have pastor Tyler reaching a milestone by serving at LCM for the past 25 years.

November 2018

We are excited and blessed as a church board to be working through some very key areas that are a top priority of the church.

October 2018

The board is excited about the upcoming fall. Now that LCM has a full pastoral staff, we will be offering a full complement of small group choices, ministry opportunities, and both children and adult activities for members and guests in which to participate. I hope you have had a chance to meet our two new pastors. Both Mario and Jonathan are excellent additions to our family at LCM; they bring a youthful energy to both our campuses.

September 2018

Time for another update on the financial status of LCM. My last report was not great but there is improvement from July. Quickly I will point out our receipts and expenses through July and then a bit of information for August.
Below is information for this year and the prior two years:

August 2018

Happy summer – hope you are all enjoying this toasty time of year. When I think of summer I think of a time to enjoy, take time off, read and relax. Summer for LCM is anything but quiet – our church community is hopping! We’ve had Vacation Bible School at both campuses, and mission trips to Puerto Rico and Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. We have our block party on August 4th for our members and community. And we’ve also welcomed new pastors to our leadership team. We say “Welcome – we’re glad you’re here!” to Pastor Alejandre and Pastor Haseley.

July 2018

At the LCM budget meeting in 2017 it was asked if we could provide more information regarding LCM’S financial position more frequently. Therefore I am going to give you some information as to where we stand at the end of May 2018.

June 2018

The church board would like to report actions that we have taken over the last couple of months. As most of you know, we have had a leaky roof issue at the East Campus for several years. We have now approved replacing this roof, and the board is considering several bids. The board will make a decision soon as to what contractor’s bid will be accepted.

May 2018

The church board has many exciting things to share with you and thank you for the opportunity to continue to serve you. As you read last month one of the things we are focused on is making sure you have timely information on what is happening in our LCM faith community. One of the most exciting areas of news is the expansion of our Pastoral team. As you know, we have a new pastor, Jonathan Haseley, joining us with a focus on our East Campus. Rachael and Jonathan visited us at East Campus the last weekend in April and plan to join us full time in July.

April 2018

The church board continues to work with the staff in getting the word out on what is happening at LCM. We want the congregation to be informed. Watch the weekly announcements at the beginning of each service. If you miss a weekend, you can catch them on YouTube via LCM or on Facebook. The monthly newsletter, weekly bulletins, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn are all ways to connect with LCM. An upcoming LCM church app will soon be ready to launch.

March 2018

I would like to thank all the members who attended the 2018 Annual Congregational Meeting in January. I am pleased to report the financial condition of LCM is very sound. We have an aggressive budget for 2018 that allows numerous ministries to spread the Word of God and tell people about Jesus and his promise. I hope all of us, through prayer, will accomplish our ministries’ goals through our gifts of giving.
