Senior Care

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. . .he should do it with the strength God provides so that in all things God may be praised . . .1 Peter 4:10-11

Using Your Spiritual Gifts in the Senior Care Ministry

God has given believers personalities, abilities, and spiritual gifts which will equip them to accomplish His specific plans for their lives. But each one must choose to step out in faith and obedience. At times the Lord challenges us to do something that seems beyond our ability, but if we back off, we’ll miss His awesome blessings.
Peter’s instructions are simple: “Use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace.” You will be more blessed by this service than you can imagine!

Locations being served presently

We have individuals sharing their talents with people at: Remington Heights, Fountain View, Lakeside Village, Waterford, Millard Good Samaritan, Granville Villa, Douglas County Health Center, Parson’s House, and others.

For more information and/or training, contact Char Repp via the church office at 402-333-4444 or fill out the form below.

Brighten the Corner Where You Are!

  • Share your musical talent—play an instrument,
  • Lead a small group Bible study
  • Spend time visiting/sharing with a lonely
  • Help lead bingo or play games with residents

  • Take your child or pet to share with residents
  • Help with art/craft work
  • Other One hour or more a month at a time
which is convenient for you would give you a
         chance to brighten someone’s day.
